What is International Yarchei Kallah?
Yarchei Kallah is the ultimate trip for future Jewish leaders. We provide motivated teens from public and unaffiliated schools with an opportunity to explore their Judaism during their winter break. Students from across North America gather for five days of fun, friends, and the chance to explore their heritage in a new and exciting way
When and Where?
The program will run from December 24th-28th, 2014, at the Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center. You’ll be staying with old and new friends – 4 to a room.
Is there transportation?
Roundtrip transportation will be provided from Boston and West Hartford. Exact times TBD.
For teens who are meeting us at the hotel, please make sure to get there by 3 PM on Wednesday.
How do I sign up?
You can sign up online here. You must sign up by December 12th to ensure your spot.
How much does it cost?
Yarchei Kallah is highly subsidized by donors who believe in the impact of our program and our teens. The cost including 5 days in the hotel, all meals and activities, and transportation is $250. To work out a payment plan, please speak with Dianne in the office.
SPECIAL PRICE FOR THOSE WHO WENT ON TJJ (AP, Ambassadors, etc.): $150
Who is staffing the program?
Yarchei Kallah is an International NCSY event, coordinated by the Education department led by Rabbi Dovid Bashevkin and Ms. Debbie Stone. In addition, top staff and advisors from all participating regions join. Educational staff includes some of the most innovative and sought-after speakers from around the world.
Our New England group will be accompanied by Rabbi Simon Taylor and Devora Weinstock, in addition to several of our awesome advisors. Feel free to contact them with any concerns, before or during the event.
